At the Washington Bridal Showcase last weekend, my good friends at WeddingWire.com approached me to make a quick video tip for their website.  I had about 3 minutes to think about it and 30 seconds to record.  Here’s what the final product looks like:

Get ready….it’s that time again!  The largest bridal show in the area, the Washington Bridal Showcase, is coming to town.  Like the past few years, Wish will be exhibiting at the Dulles Expo Center show.  We’ll share a booth with The Dandelion Patch like last time so we’ll be easy to find.  Here’s the details on the show:

It’s that time of year — bridal show season!  The DC Couture Wedding Consortium is hosting a bridal show this weekend.  Here’s the details:

Remember when we were at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club for Kinley & Drew’s walkthrough then their wedding day?  Well this beautiful waterfront venue is hosting a bridal show in January and you’re invited!

“Each ballroom of the CBBC’s gorgeous waterfront wedding venue will be decked out in a different wedding theme.  Vendors will introduce the latest wedding styes, trends, and artistic flair for brides to experience but in a more interactive setting.  Featuring vendors from both shores, Baltimore and DC, gratis champagne, refreshments, and gourmet samples, sophisticated and contemporary fashion shows, ceremony and reception music planning demonstrations, give-aways, samplings, and more.”

The Dandelion Patch decorated the majority of our big booth with these beautiful boards.  They’re covered in wedding invitation samples!  There must have been at least 14-16 boards chock full of samples:

They also had their in-house calligrapher come out and do some lettering for brides!  She’d write their names beautifully on little cards for them to take home:
