A couple weeks ago, I was invited to attend an event hosted by Doreen Tisone of Engaged! Magazine.  Doreen’s fabulous magazine is all about local weddings and we always love checking out the new issues. It’s chock full of Real Weddings and their editorial stories are spot-on.

The event was hosted at Red Door Spas!  Red Door has convenient DC-area locations in Chevy Chase, Gaithersburg, Bethesda, Fairfax, Arlington, Reston, Tyson’s Corner, and downtown DC inside the Willard Hotel.  While I’ve always recommended their salons as great places for hair and makeup, they offer SO many more services you could use for your wedding.

Besides, they have a secret weapon.  And her name is Kelly.

Kelly Bigel is a lovely young woman who manages group appointments for all the Red Door locations in the DC metro area.  That means there’s one person to call when you want to schedule a mani/pedi party before the bachelorette party, schedule your hair and makeup trial, get a pre-wedding massage and facial, and schedule all your bridesmaids’ hair and makeup the morning of the wedding.  She’ll even work with you to arrange for hairstylists and makeup artists to meet you off-site in your hotel suite or home!
