Sally & Kevin

Sally & Kevin chose Lowe's Island Club (now Trump National Golf Club) in Leesburg as the setting for their wedding, which incorporated Persian traditions to honor the bride's heritage. They did a fantastic job explaining the meaning and significance of the Persian customs (such as the beautiful Sofreh) in the program for the benefit of those in attendance unfamiliar with Iranian culture. Cake was provided by A Piece of Cake, flowers designed by Distinctive Floral Designs and DJ Ani Shafazand did a fantastic job playing both American and Persian music. These stunning photographs are the work of Srinu and Amy at Regeti's Photography. Since Sally & Kevin are both optometrists, they had a photo booth from Party Booths, complete with funny glasses and sunglasses for guests to try on. Guests took one set of photos home and the other set went into the "sign-in" book for guests to leave a message. At the end of the evening, Sally threw her bouquet from the second floor porch to the crowd below before the happy couple ran through a sparkler sendoff to spend the night at the Ritz-Carlton Tysons Corner. This wedding was expertly coordinated by Cristin.
